Faculty And Staff

The International Studies Program involves faculty with a strong interest in and commitment to undergraduate international education from throughout the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences and, in several cases, from other colleges at West Virginia University. In addition, certain core faculty are involved directly in the program’s administration, either as members of the I.S. committee that oversees the major or as advisors to students majoring in International Studies. Click on the segments below to access information on these faculty members and each’s educational background, areas of teaching, research interests, and contact information.

International Studies Committee

General oversight of the International Studies Program is provided by a faculty committee whose members represent those departments with internationally-oriented courses that makeup most of the I.S. curriculum.

Faculty Advisors

Quality student advising is a primary concern of the International Studies Program. Upon declaring the major, each student is assigned to a faculty member who usually serves as his or her advisor throughout their time with the program.
