Faculty Advisors
Four Political Science faculty members are dedicated to advising International Studies majors exclusively: Professors Scott Crichlow, Christina Fattore, Joe Hagan, and Karleen Jones-West. The overall advising process is managed by the program’s administrative assistant, Ms. Donna MacIsaac. Each semester, Ms. MacIsaac schedules all student advising appointments and works with each student to prepare advising materials. The faculty advisor then meets with each student to select the next semester’s classes in a way that fits best with that student’s interests and area of emphasis within the major. These advising sessions also provide an opportunity to discuss plans for study abroad, internships, and graduate school opportunities.
