Area of Emphasis

This segment of the major is the most substantial and has the student specialize in an area of emphasis – either Security and Diplomacy or Global Connections. 

• The Security and Diplomacy area of emphasis is for students focusing on intelligence and national security or diplomacy. 
  
• The Global Connections area of emphasis is for students interested in international business, international development, international environment, or global health.
